Hao GONG completed his PhD 26 years ago from Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands. He is a full professor at Department of Materials Science and Technology, National University of Singapore. He has published more than 200 papers in reputed journals and has served as reviewers for more than 30 internation journals including Nature communications, Advanced Materials, Nano Letter, ACS Nano, JACS, etc. He is an editorial board member of Scientific Reports, and guest editors of some special issues of a few jounals. He has been chairman for a few international conferences.

Other innovative products- Superparamagnetic lead nanoparticles, semiconducting lead Nanoparticles, Low cost-mass production of graphene, agricultural nanofertilisers, vegetable powder for diabetes, plants materials for diabetes & psoriasis and nanoparticles for treatment of EBOLA, DENGUE, HIV & H1N1 virus infection. Govt. of India shows interests to develop her inventions for the benefits of public; since Dec-2014, she has delivered lectures (more than 105) in International / National scientific conferences, foreign countries and renowned institutes like National Institute of Technology, Anna University, Central University of all over India; she delivered Motivational Lectures for women, students and staff of institutes / Multi-national corporate companies (Cognizant Technologies); Artha Nyana Academy (Malaysia), Intelligent Society of Malaysia etc. NanoDigest, Economic Times and Telegraph have published news about her research; Thanthi TV, All India Radio, Minnal FM (Malaysia) and Bernama TV (Malaysia) have broadcasted her interviews.

Materials science Nano Technology

Dr Zhe LI has completed his PhD in early 2012 from University of Cambridge and postdoctoral studies from Imperial College of London in 2014. Later on he joined Swansea University as a research fellow (2014-2016) and senior research fellow (2016-2017). He is now a Lecturer in Energy Materials at School of Engineering, Cardiff University. He has published more than 30 papers in reputed journals and holder of 1 industrial patent.

LAURA FLOROIAN received her B.SC. degree in physics at University of Bucharest, Romania in 1995 and she is currently Associate Professor at Transilvania University of Brasov, Romania. Dr. Floroian is a member of many scientific societies: SRF – Romanian Society of Physics, Romanian Society of Automation and Technical Informatics (SRAIT), National Society for Medical Engineering and Biological Technology (SNMITB) and International Association of Online Engineering (IAOE).

Her current research interests cover biomaterials fields, optical sensor for cell detection, biosensors for biological compounds and toxic compounds, advanced techniques for thin films deposition and advanced techniques for surface characterization

Dr. Abdeen Mustafa Omer (BSc, MSc, PhD) is an Associate Researcher at Energy Research Institute (ERI). He obtained both his PhD degree in the Built Environment and Master of Philosophy degree in Renewable Energy Technologies from the University of Nottingham. He is qualified Mechanical Engineer with a proven track record within the water industry and renewable energy technologies. He has been graduated from University of El Menoufia, Egypt, BSc in Mechanical Engineering. His previous experience involved being a member of the research team at the National Council for Research/Energy Research Institute in Sudan and working director of research and development for National Water Equipment Manufacturing Co. Ltd., Sudan. He has been listed in the book WHO’S WHO in the World 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2010. He has published over 300 papers in peer-reviewed journals, 200 review articles, 7 books and 150 chapters in books.

Dr. O.L. Shanmugasundaram was born in 1976. He hails from an agricultural family based at Gobichettipalayam, Tamil Nadu, India. He grew up in a closely knit family environment. His personality trait comprises patience, honest, boldness, perseverance and an amicable and sociable person. He evinced keen interest in biomedical and nanotechnology fields’ right from college days. He imbued the interest in research from his mother. He has a good penmanship. His school and college academic track records speak of his dedication and commitment to studies Dr. O.L. Shanmugasundaram is a Professor in the Department of Textile Technology at K.S.Rangasamy College of Technology, India. He completed his Diploma in Textile Processing in the year 1996 from Erode Institute of Technology, India. He graduated in B.Tech. Textile Technology from Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, India in the year 2000. He aced the GATE Examination with 83.21 percentile [All India Rank: 93] in the year 2003. He received his M.Tech. Degree in Textile Technology in the year 2005 from Alagappa College of Technology, Anna University Campus, Chennai and completed his Ph.D. degree in Medical Textiles from Anna University in the year 2011 under the supervision of Dr. R.V. Mahendra Gowda. He served as Joint supervisor for 3 Ph.D. scholars under Anna University and Supervisor for 1 Ph.D. scholar under Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. His tenure of service for 12 years in K.S.Rangasamy College of Technology and 2 years in SSM College of Engineering has honed his skills in teaching, research and administration [Autonomous In-charge, NBA coordinator, NAAC coordinator, ISO coordinator, etc]. He serves as an editorial board member and reviewer in many refereed journals including Elsevier and Springer Journals and is also acting as organizing committee member and scientific committee member in 100 International and 60 National Conferences in India and abroad.

He disseminated his research results through regular publications in scholarly and peer reviewed Journals. He has authored 32 research papers in reputed journals. He has to his credit 25 papers presented in International Conferences and 7 others in National Conferences. His research interests span a hybrid platform of theoretical and experimental approaches to study the diverse applications of Nanotechnology in Textiles, Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine, Bio-Medical Textiles, Textile Chemical Processing, Technical Textiles and Fibre Science & Technology. His current research activities focus on Healthcare and Hygiene Textiles, synthesis of nanoparticles/polymers and its applications in wound dressings and tissue engineering, development of drug releasing sutures motivated by the emerging challenges in the fields of medical and sports textile technology.

Dr Wing Chung Tsoi is a Senior Research Officer. His research interests are mainly focus on solution-process photovoltaic/solar cells, including organic solar cells, perovskite solar cells...He is particularly interested in understanding the structure-property-performance relationship of the photovoltaic/solar cells, in order to understand the fundamentals and to improve the performance, particularly the stability of the photovoltaic/solar cells. His expertise is on developing/applying advanced (nano-) characterization methods to probe the structures/morphology of the photovoltaic thin films, and correlate it to the properties and performances. His particularly expertise is on advanced Raman spectroscopy and functional atomic force microscopy (AFM).
